It was a smaller Thanksgiving this year since we had to stay close to home for Matt to work Thanksgiving night (his nights off are Tues/Wed). My parents & brother headed up to Ocala to spend Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family (including Eric, Heather, Garrett, and Bayleigh, who I haven't seen since she was a month old!)
11/27/08 - Here we all are with Grandad, Lillian, and Matt's parents.
We had a quiet, but nice, Thanksgiving and it was great for Grandad and Lillian to get to spend some time with James. This was one of the sweetest pictures from the day!

We had a nice, unexpected visit from Matt's sister, Aunt Michelle, and her two girls, Grace and Hope. (Uncle Kevin was also able to join us just before Christmas, too, so it was nice to have them down here for Christmas this year.) Grace is 6 1/2 and Hope will be 2 in March. Here are some pictures of James with his cousins:

12/7/08 - One of my latest ABSOLUTE FAVORITE pictures of James! Aunt Michelle took it with Pops' camera and it's awesome! He and Grace had fun playing in the backyard. This is James "climbing" a tree like his big cousin. He liked making monkey noises while doing this, too, and saying, "I'm a monkey!"

11/28/07 - James used to walk around the house pretending to talk on the phone (really an old remote we gave him to play with). It was hilarious!
11/29/07 - We thought this picture of James putting both fingers in his ears was so funny at the time. We were laughing and commenting about it and he was laughing, too. Come to find out he had his first ear infection... and it was a double ear infection! I really felt awful but he must have a high tolerance for pain because he really wasn't complaining at all.
12/4/07 - James and Daddy at T.Y. Park. James loved going to the park and running around. We loved having him burn some energy!
12/8/07 - James loved his spaghetti! (and still loves any kind of pasta!)
12/10/07 - James eating lunch with his two buddies, Noah and Christian, from church. He still loves playing with them, and looks forward to seeing them every Wednesday night and Sunday morning!

12/16/07 - His hair was getting long, but it was hard to cut hair on a moving target. So, we had some fun in the tub with his hair one night and made a mohawk!

12/4/06 - James really started getting into playing with this toy. He'd use both his hands and his feet! He actually got really good at taking the two animals off the toy!
12/14/06 - James and I went with my parents to my brother's graduation from FSU. Thankfully, James was a very good baby and really didn't fuss much in the car. Here he is gnawing on his teether to pass the time in the car.
12/14/06 - We stayed in Ocala and picked up my grandparents on the way to Tallahassee.
12/15/08 - I LOVE this picture of James reaching for Ryan's tassel right after his graduation ceremony. (We actually brought him into the ceremony and set him in his infant seat during the whole thing and he was SO good! I was hoping he'd go to sleep but I don't think he slept much and he was still good even though it was a LONG ceremony!!)
12/15/06 - He was very interested in the aquarium in Uncle Ryan's house up in Tallahassee...

12/17/06 - We got to see all the Hunters (including Eric, Heather, & Garrett) on the way home from Tallahassee at Aunt Lori & Uncle Steve's house. James and Garrett had been dubbed the "chicken and the pig" by Uncle Jimmy just a few weeks earlier at Thanksgiving. James is a couple months younger, but he always has been more on the "petite" side, too. =o)
12/17/06 - At one point, Garrett actually tried to eat James toes. I love this picture because James has a look on his face that says, "Hey, whoa, man! What the heck are ya doin'?!? I need all of those!"
